Master of Science (Embedded System Design Engineering)

The objectives of this programme are

  • To provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the hardware and software technologies of developing high-end embedded system based on three (3) widely used high performance microprocessors are DSP chips, FPGA and x86 or ARM on a Single Board Computer running GNU/Linux.
  • To seek a balance between the software and hardware aspects of embedded systems.
  • To increase research activities in embedded computing research cluster in UniMAP.

Malaysian Student

  • The student passes the Malay and English languages in the SPM level (or equivalent).
  • The student CGPA during the degree level is above 2.75 (as of 2015)
  • The proposal presented with
    • Good command of English
    • Essential level of research issue

International Student

For International Student the admission criteria are

  • The student needs to prove the good level of English language for example IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 500 and equivalent.
  • The student needs to prove that he has passes the Bachelor Degree with above average result.
