Starting from February 2017, a program called CSR Lego Mindstorms is conducted for primary two students of Sekolah Rendah Islam Mithali Aqrab. The main objective of this program is to create learning experiences characterized by playful, hands-on activities that engender motivation and engagement with the STEM concepts. This program is organized by School of Computer and Communication Engineering in collaboration with the Centre of Excellence for Advance Sensor and Technology (CEASTech), School of Electrical Systems Engineering, School of Mechatronic Engineering and School of Bioprocess Engineering. A robotic training class will be given to the students on every Wednesday, at CEASTech by volunteers lecturers from the involved schools. The list of lecturers is as follows:

This robotic training has many positive impacts to the students and to the lecturers as well. As such, it is a good exposure to the primary school students as they will learn basic programming and robotic knowledge. They will also have the ability to model a wide range of problems such as building and dividing shapes, and measuring and representing data. On top of that, it will help the students to collaborate and communicate with their team and among the other students in the wider classroom. As for the lecturers, it is a great experience to get involved in this project as it also gives a lot of knowledge on robotics, as well as testing at the level of social skills and teaching ability since this project involves primary school students as the students.
