The main goal of this current talk is to expose various approach in generating the revenue of SCCE through collaboration with UniMAP Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Technopreneuer at UniMAP Sdn. Bhd. This is parallel to the initiative of our Minister of Higher Education, Dato Seri Dr. Idris Jusoh. He mentioned that reduction of allocation to the Higher Education Ministry in the 2017 Budget should be viewed positively to reduce the dependence of public universities on the government. It is also consistent with the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2013-2025 which doesn't want public universities to be too dependent on the government. Datuk Seri Idris said as an alternative to the reduction, university alumni should play a role to assist their universities and universities also need to maximize the use of their assets.

From the talk, lecturers will spark new ideas on how to generate the revenue for the UniMAP through the consultation with industrial companies. UniMAP holding will become the middle man to manage this consultation services. In addition, a great opportunity will be exposed to the lecturers in obtaining the research fund through DOUBLE TAX DEDUCTION method in collaboration with industrial partners that will be managed by TUSB Company. ECIP department provides the procedure on how to execute the business work through ‘Talk on opportunities in revenue generation’.
